Red Scalene try -out for 2025 season with guest performance of Portland singer Jente Pironet
The Band
Alain (Vocals & Guitar) and Frank (Drums), who worked together in a musical project in 2011-2012, started Red Scalene around Christmas 2022.
The band delivers a diverse set of Pop & Rock, own songs as well as some all-time classic covers.
Following a series of highly successful live performances in 2023 & 2024 (with highlight Martkthallen gig in Herk-de-Stad, opening for SLOPER, band of Triggerfinger's Mario Goossens and Golden Earring's Cesar Zuiderwijk) and the launch of their first music video Snake in September 2024, the band attracted Pieter as their new leadsinger in November 2024.
The arrival of Pieter caters for the desire to combine strong lead vocals with strong backing vocals and swiftly resulted in the launch of the 'Embrace' song for the 'Warmste Week' charity in December 2024. The song caught substantial attention resulting in interviews on MNM radio and TV.
In December, Pieter (Lead guitar, Keyboards) and Tim (Bass), 2 musicians with extensive studio and live experience, joined the band. The group of 5 is now working hard on new song material and their live set for the 2025 season.
